Mr. Lucas became CEO of Solar Wise in April 2014. He founded Solar Wise in April 2014 as Chief Executive Officer and served as Solar Wise's CEO from April 2014 till date. Prior to setting up Solar Wise, Mr. Lucas served as Lead Engineer of GrafTech International Ltd., a leading global manufacturer of advanced carbon and graphite materials, from May 2006 through March 2014, as well as Site Supervisor, Engineered Solutions from January 2002 through March 2006. Prior to joining GrafTech, Mr. Lucas served as Lead Engineer of NCR Inc. from 2005 to 2006. Mr. Lucas also held various supervisory and managerial positions with Lucent Technologies Inc., Allied Signal, Inc., and Bristol Myers/Squibb, Inc. He began his career in 1995 as an Trainee Engineer with SunPower Inc.USA. Mr. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid.
Mr. Santos is executive chairman of Solar Wise. He also sits on the board of several corporations around Central and North America. He is a seasoned Engineer, and has had an illustrous engineering career spanning over 25 years.
Mr. Nolan became an Assistant Installation Engineer at Solar Wise in April 2014. He is vastly experienced in the installation of advanced solar equipment as well as efficient energy systems. Prior to joining Solar Wise, Alexis served as Lead Engineer of SolarTech Ltd., a leading solar power installation firm, from May 2008 through August 2013. Prior to joining SolarTech, Mr. Nolan served as Lead Engineer of Green Base Inc. from 2004 to 2008. Mr. Lucas also held various supervisory positions with Lucent Technologies Inc.and Allied Signal Inc. Mr. Lucas holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics) from University of Alabama.
Richard Hughes is a Partner and a season expert in solar power engineering. He joined Solar Wise in June 2015 as an engineering partner. Mr. Antoun has over 20 years of operational and technical experience, including leadership positions at several global solar technology companies. Besides Solar Wise, Mr. Hughes served as Venture Partner at SunEdison Ventures Inc., a solar power and green energy firm that he joined in July 2011. Before joining SunEdison, Mr. Hughes was the Head of Product Area IP & Broadband Networks for Ericsson, based in San Jose, California. Mr. Hughes joined Ericsson in 2007, when Ericsson acquired Redback Networks, a telecommunications equipment company, where Mr. Hughes served as the Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales & Operations. After the acquisition, Mr. Hughes was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the Redback Networks subsidiary. Prior to Redback Networks, Mr. Hughes spent five years at Cisco Systems, where he served as Vice President of Worldwide Systems Engineering and Field Marketing, Vice President of Worldwide Optical Operations, and Vice President of Carrier Sales. He has also held senior management positions at Green Power Systems, a solar infrastruction provider. Mr. Hughes is a member of the board of directors of Ruckus Wireless, Inc. and Violin Memory, Inc., both publicly-traded companies. Mr. Hughes earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master's degree in PhotoVoltaic Systems Engineering from NYU Poly.
Mr Philips is the Chief Software Engineer at Solar Wise, Inc., and is responsible for research, development and marketing operations. He designs and builds models and prototype equipment for Solar Wise's pilot installation line and led the team that developed the process for producing large area thin film cadmium telluride solar modules. Mr. Philips has worked as a part-time consultant for Solar Wise from November 2013 till date. He has over 7 years of experience in physics, engineering, research and development, installation and process design with companies such as Westinghouse, Owens Illinois, Glasstech and Photonics Systems. Mr. Philips holds more than 4 patents in areas of flat panel electronic displays and photovoltaic devices and processes. Mr. Philips earned his B.S. in Physics from the University of Scranton (Pennsylvania) and a Masters in Physics from the University of Pittsburgh.
